Argentine Tango Every Sunday Night

The Argentine Tango is a simple, elegant and intense partner dance and we will be running informal Drop-In classes for Beginners & Improvers/Intermediates Classe every Sunday Night at Marks Tey, so why not come along and join us?

This is a great venue with a beautifull wooden floor, air conditioning and a large car park, conveniently situated just off the A12, junction with the A120.

Beginners and Improvers/Intermediates Tango Classes

Beginners Tango Class - 7.15 pm - 8.15 pm

Improvers/Intermediates Class 8.15 - 9.30 pm

Dance Practica till 10.15 pm

Tango Class and Dance Practica only £6.00 on the Door

Please note that all classes will start on time so it is best to be there a couple of minutes beforehand, dance shoes on ready to go!

How to Progress your dancing from Basic Beginners to Improvers: 

0. Learn the fundamental steps of the Argentine Tango in the Beginners Class
   
0. Once you have the basics firmly in place stay on after the Beginners Class and join in with the first section of the Improvers Class
   
0. Continue with the Beginners Class and then stay on and Complete the Improvers Class

In just a short time you will have made the transition from Beginner to Improver seemlessly and be able to dance with style and confidence!  Private Lessons are also available if you want to fast track your dancing.

All dance classes will run on a Drop-in basis. 

Each week in the Improvers/Intermediates Class we will teach a structured routine, starting off with a nice and simple element, progressing through to more intricate patterns that become technical and complex.  This way we hope to make it eaier for students to progress from Beginners to Improvers to Intermediates, and to make learning Tango an inclusive and social experience! Students will be free to choose their own level and opt in/out at any point of the class and do as much or as little as they feel comfortable with on the night. 

During the Dance Practice we will both be on hand to give individual help and coaching and we hope that this more inclusive approach will encourage more people to stay longer and enjoy the social aspect of dancing.
